UX/UI Designer

Position Summary

As a UI/UX Designer at LiNKX, you will participate in the entire product development process. This includes everything from brainstorming new product concepts to making last-minute pixel changes before launch. You will use your startup mindset and your full range of product design, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and prototyping skills to produce elegantly simple designs.



Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and design the user experience across internal or external products and services, from conception until their testing, launching and further improvements

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to build and deliver solutions that are both visually compelling and outstanding in terms of usability.

  • Plan, design and run design workshops and design sprints

  • Design mock-ups and prototypes and test them internally and with real users

  • Conduct user research to understand the customer context and how our products fit within it

  • Promote usability and design best practices across our teams and clients

  • Craft and maintain product UI components and pattern libraries

  • Create a cohesive design language for our products



Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product design experience

  • Experience designing and shipping B2B and/or B2C products and custom based software solutions

  • Experience working with Product Managers and Engineers to ship high-quality products

  • Enthusiasm for interacting with customers and a strong sense of customer empathy

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivation and enjoyment of a startup environment

  • Business-level English and business-level Japanese abilities



Nice to have

  • Strong UI prototyping skills

  • Knowledge of motion graphics for UI

  • Workshop facilitation experience

  • Basic coding abilities

  • UX writing
