Product Consultant

Position Summary

As a product manager at LiNKX, you will help various businesses change the way they solve problems by running product discovery with them to quickly generate validated learnings. LiNKX Discovery Service follows the “startup timeline”, which is about spending less time on endless meetings and powerpoints, and spending more time on running product discovery to quickly and continually validate ideas.



Job Responsibilities

  • Dig deep into clients’ situation to understand the full scope of the problem and correctly diagnose it

  • Work with your discovery team and client representatives to build viable prototypes

  • Run the user testing sessions with the discovery team to validate ideas

  • Manage the delivery team as the product owner

  • Make bold proposals for changes that are required to create great products and solutions

  • Build product vision and strategy with clients to help them deliver great business outcomes

  • Own the discovery process and try various agile methodologies that are suitable for clients’ situation

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, technology, and industry trends in order to help clients discover great solutions

  • Contribute to our ever-evolving product discovery service by introducing your own ideas



Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in product management and product life-cycle management and have managed complex projects.

  • Empathizes with people from different cultural backgrounds and operating in various roles at several organizational levels.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Autonomy, proactiveness, commercial acumen, comfortable in operating with ambiguity, and doer are essential skills.

  • Business level of English preferred

  • Fluent Japanese required

  • Startup experience is a plus

  • Previous experience in consulting firms is preferable.
